Due to a recent outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the Midvaal area the Organisers of the *2025 Midvaal 300* have been forced to relocate round 3 of the 2025 Off Road North Series scheduled to take place on *Saturday 5 July 2025*.

The event will move to the *Biesiesvlei* area in the North West, the *2025 Biesiesvlei 300* will still take place on *Saturday 5 July 2025*.

The Off Road North series could not stage events without the support of local landowners who afford us the privilege of staging our events on their properties. The decision to move the event has been taken considering the recent outbreak of foot and mouth in the Midvaal area to prioritise the health and safety of the farming community who offered us a venue to stage the event. The bio-security risks of staging an event in an area affected by the foot and mouth outbreak are too high and our primary concern is to ensure there is no risk of further spread of the disease in vulnerable areas. Our primary concern is to ensure that we do our part in protecting the properties and livelihoods of those affected by the outbreak.

A further special word of thanks goes to the Jansen van Rensburg family who have extended an invitation to us to stage the event on the farm at very short notice.

We appreciate the understanding and support of all competitors, officials, sponsors and supporters and look forward to seeing you in *Biesiesvlei* on *Saturday 5 July* for *Round 3 of the 2025 Off Road North Championship*.

KENNISGEWING!

Na gesprek met die grondeienaars van die 2025 Midvaal 300 roete, en met meer reën wat vir die week voorspel word, het die organiseerders die besluit geneem om die wedren tot 'n datum later in die seisoen uit te stel.

Ons vra om verskoning vir die ongerief en teleurstelling wat deelnemers en ondersteuners ongetwyfeld sal voel.

Die besluit is geneem in die belang van veiligheid en om onnodige skade aan boere se grond en infrastruktuur te voorkom.

'n Potensiële nuwe datum vir die wedren is geïdentifiseer en alle partye sal in kennis gestel word sodra die datum deur MSA goedgekeur is.

Baie dankie aan die plaaslike organieseringspan onder leiding van Ignus du Plessis, Wessel Mostert en Steff Nolte wat ontelbare ure spandeer het om die wedren te reel.

Ons sien uit daarna om die Midvaal-omgewing se gasvryheid te ervaar wanneer die wedren herskeduleer word.

After discussions with the farmers of the 2025 Midvaal 300 route, and with more rain predicted for this week, the organisers have made the decision to postpone the race to a date later in the season.

We apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment that participants and supporters will undoubtedly feel.

The decision was made in the interest of safety and to prevent unnecessary damage to the farmers' land and infrastructure.

A potential new date for the race has been identified, and all parties will be notified once the date has been approved by MSA.

We thank all the teams who entered the race for their continued support.

Many thanks to the local organising team led by Ignus du Plessis, Wessel Mostert and Steff Nolte, who spent countless hours organising the race.

We look forward to experiencing the Midvaal area's hospitality when the race is rescheduled.
