I’m excited to present the latest guitar from Berg Guitars’ Master Series'. This guitar is built with care and attention to detail, featuring materials of highest quality. Western Red Cedar top and Indian Rosewood back and sides , with mahogany inner sides for added sustain.
The neck is more slender than usual measuring 21mm thick at 1st fret and 22 mm at the 9th. Made from Spanish Cedar, paired with a West African Ebony fingerboard with pearl dot markers. The Indian Rosewood bridge has a subtle floral inlay that perfectly matches the intricate white, gold and black mother of pearl floral design set against Ebony background with Abalone leaves and altenating block purfling in Abalone and Ebony. The guitar features a soundport in the side which design also matches the design of the rosette. The player can enjoy a bit more of the sound that the audience hear without compromising the sound projection capability.
African Blackwood binding, along with handmade Boekenhout herringbone trim and matching purflings, adds a refined look. The headstock is also African Blackwood, featuring black mother-of-pearl inlay and polished black nickel Rubner tuners with black mother-of-pearl buttons.
The setup is a comfortable 3mm treble and 4 bass side. Nut width is 51mm made of bone. Saddle also made of bone and compensated to achieve perfect intonation. Scale length is 640 mm to make those huge stretches a bit easier. Frets are medium nickel silver, and a high gloss lacquer finish. This guitar is designed to inspire your music and deliver a great playing experience.
