Something as simple as posting an object into a cardboard tube is packed with opportunities for learning.🌺

As your little one grasps, aims and releases, they are developing fine motor control, hand eye coordination, concentration and early problem solving skills.

Because when little ones play, they are doing so much more than having fun. They are learning, exploring and growing.👣⭐️

Grabbing, squeezing, poking and pinching may seem like simple actions but for your baby, they are big milestones!🤲

Every time your little one reaches out, picks up a toy or explores something new with their hands, they are strengthening the tiny muscles in their hands, wrists and fingers. These fine motor skills lay the foundation for future abilities such as self-feeding, dressing, drawing and eventually writing.

Fine motor play also develops hand eye coordination and problem-solving skills, helping your baby learn to control their movements and explore their world with growing confidence.

Offer safe, interesting objects for your baby to investigate every day, such as soft fabrics, textured toys, silicone cups or chunky wooden blocks. Follow their lead, allow plenty of time for exploration and celebrate their curiosity.🧐

Remember, it's not about doing it perfectly. It's about trying, exploring and discovering at their own pace.

Tearing tissue paper might look like simple play, but for 13 to 18-month old it’s a total brain and body workout! ✨

Here’s what’s actually happening when your little one rips that paper:

Fine Motor Strength: Building the pincer grasp needed for holding pencils and utensils later on.

Bilateral Coordination: Teaching both hands to work together doing completely different movements.

Hand-Eye Coordination: Visual tracking meets physical control.

Cause & Effect: Feeling the resistance, hearing the crinkle, and seeing the paper change shape!

Grab a piece of scrap tissue paper and give it a try today! ✂️👇

Worst case scenario: In the first class babies fuss a bit, you meet other moms who totally get it, and you go home.

Best case scenario? Watch the video again. 🎊✨

Come join the fun! DM us to check availability for your baby's age group.

Some milestones take longer and that’s perfectly fine. Growth unfolds at its own pace. With every calm breath and reassuring smile, you remind your baby that they are enough, exactly as they are.🌻

Sharing is not a skill that children automatically understand. Young children are still learning about ownership, turn taking, empathy and social relationships. These skills develop gradually over time through guidance, modelling and practice.🧠

Rather than expecting perfect sharing, we can support children as they learn these important social skills at their own pace.👀⭐️
