My Art journey Part 5

One thing I love about Art is that every time you pick up a pencil or brush, you discover a new techniques and skills

It's all about CONSISTENCY, TIME AND PATIENCE.

NEVER GIVE UP, YOU CAN DO IT! 💪

2021 vs 2025
My Art journey Part 4

This was my first canvas painting, also my biggest drawing back in 2021. It took me a whole year to finish it. After that, I quit canvas painting.

The reason I quit was because canvas takes a lot of time and energy — the sizes are too big compared to sketchbooks. So I started focusing on graphite pencils drawing portraits in my sketchbook and I fell in love with it. From there I moved to charcoal pencils and mixed them with graphite pencils

Then in 2025 my brothers in art Liindo Kuhlee & Themba Riley they inspired and encouraged me to come back to canvas painting. It took me 5 years to come back to canvas. Honestly, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be back on canvas.

S/O Themba Riley & Liindo kuhlee — they're the ones who inspired & encourage me to start painting on canvas again. Check out their works on their accounts

Now I draw on both sketchbooks and canvas. That's a big improvement. I can draw with any medium and raw materials now, so I can say I'm a mixed media artist now. Every artist has a funny and sad story in art. This is mine. Please like and share my journey in Art

It's all about CONSISTENCY, TIME AND PATIENCE.

NEVER GIVE UP, YOU CAN DO IT! 💪
