Q: is there a different between Ngaka and the Sangoma?
My answer: Bo Ngaka! The counter part of witchcraft. Both Ngaka and Sangoma are respected based on merits and the is evolution in borh of them. The Sangoma originate from the nguni speaking ppl and ngaka from sotho. Bo ngaka has gained more momentum over the years because of the public awareness and transparency to the ppl, yet on the site ya the Sangomas most of their practices are not open to public disclosure. One would feel that Sangomas are not protecting the public, yet the Sangoma and ngaka their core business is to protect and hell the public using the indigenous practices. That's my take on the matter
