Kaana Sauti is a South African–rooted, Africa-facing artist, DJ & producer podcast that blends music, identity, and creative environments.
The name comes from Bambara (spoken in Mali), where Kaana refers to a home/place, and Sauti (widespread across East African Bantu languages) means sound/voice.
Together, Kaana Sauti = “Home of Sound.”
This podcast celebrates the idea that music doesn’t just come from DJs — it comes from their spaces, their rituals, their lives, and their souls. Every episode is a personal journey into a DJ’s curated environment.
Kaana Sauti is not “a DJ/Artist booth podcast.”
It’s a home, a feeling, a world that changes every episode.
Step inside. 🌿
Every DJ & Artist has a world, and every world has a sound.
Kaana Sauti — Home of Sound — is here. First episode out now! 🎶
