Newspaper Vendor - Downtown Joburg - 2012

In 2012 the area around the Jozi Station was a hustling and bustling place - and a part of Johannesburg where we spent several days filming scenes for MANDELA - A LONG WALK TO FREEDOM with Idris Elba. It’s no doubt still a busy and fast moving area, but it’s changed a lot over the past decade, and I know you’d have to walk far and wide to find a newspaper vendor selling this now extinct, SA tabloid! I love this portrait.
