We have since returned to the roots of good food--the ingredients themselves, and found ourselves on a farm in the Cradle. Sweet Tea and Chickadee aims to ensure that guests are treated to a unique and authentically Southern American experience: from the food, to the drinks, to the environment. From the moment guests walk in the door to the moment they leave, it will be as if they stepped into South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama…the heart and soul of America. A little bit of history, a delicious bite of food, a good drink, and a whole lot of southern charm. We are committed to working with local farmers and producers to source the ingredients needed in order to create seasonal Southern American cuisine, right here in Johannesburg. Food as it should be: real, authentic, unpretentious, surprising, and full of flavor.
