It was in the mid 1980's that Motul began selling our products in South Africa. Tiger Motorcycle Products were appointed as our distributor and through the years with changes in ownership and restructuring of the various holding companies Tiger Motorcycle Products eventually became After Market Products (AMP), who today are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bidvest Group. During this time Motul has
grown to become a dominant brand in the South African motorcycle and marine markets. Motul has also won numerous road and offroad motorcycle championships in South Africa. The beginning of 2013 saw the dawn of a new era for Motul in South Africa with the appointment of Premium Lubricants, a wholly owned subsidiary of Imperial Holdings, as our distributor of automotive lubricants, bringing Motul's range of passenger car, commercial (light and heavy), civil and off-highway products to South Africa.
