NOTIFICATION OF RESCHEDULING CCIFSA ILEMBE DISTRICT CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP AND SECTOR ELECTION CONVOCATION AGM

Dear Ilembe District Artists,

I trust this message finds you well. On behalf of the Creative and Cultural Industries Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA) Ilembe Region, I wish to inform you that the Capacity Building Workshop and Sector Election Convocation AGM, initially scheduled for the 7th of September 2024 at the Luthuli Museum, unfortunately did not proceed due to not meeting the required quorum.

As this workshop and AGM are crucial to the development and representation of the arts sector in Ilembe, we have made the decision to reschedule the event to the 28th of September 2024 at the same venue, the Luthuli Museum. This postponement will allow us to ensure broader participation and meet the quorum needed to facilitate a productive session for the selection of sector representatives.

We strongly encourage all artists, particularly those in the creative industry, to attend and actively participate in this important event. The workshop will provide valuable insights into professional development, funding opportunities, and strategies to uplift the creative sector, while the election will ensure that your voices are represented at both regional and national levels.

Your presence and engagement in this rescheduled workshop are vital for the future of the arts and cultural sector in Ilembe District. We look forward to seeing you on the 28th of September, and we trust that this event will serve as a stepping stone for further growth and unity within our creative community.
