At least five foreign nationals have been arrested so far for not having legal documents and being non complaint. This follows after Mount Ayliff LED closed all the shops owned by foreigners on Friday 8 November, when kids from Ntsizwa SPS were rushed to hospital after they bought from one of the shops us fight for the kids

Breaking news: there is a protest on N2 road between KwaBhaca (Mt. Frere) and eMaXesibeni (Mt. Ayliff). ECDOT spokesperson Unathi Bhinqose pleads with the road users to be cautious as this has affected the flow of traffic. He also urged the community member not to take their grievances to the road. "Our traffic law enforcement officers are on the ground trying to manage the blockade and get traffic flowing again".

For now it it is unclear what has caused the protest but we can confirm that is ward 8 and 9 community members. Will keep you updated as it is developing story.

Umzimvubu Local Municipality is on stand still. This follows after local business forum decided to shutdown the Municipal building today . On this day the speaker of the local Municipality was supposed to be appointed.

Five Constables were robbed off their fire arms after attending to a crime scene while patrolling, at Total garage in Mbizana just after midnight and one unarmed female Constable who was driving the SAPS vehicle was shot to death.
