Do I contradict myself?
Very well, then I contradict myself.
I am large, I contain multitudes

We are vast and full of all sorts of stuff—the good, the bad, the thoughtful, the cruel.
We should acknowledge all of it if we are ever to become people and organizations that are honorable, worthy, and accountable.
Hiding behind a false narrative and denying fault only increases the harm we cause. It keeps us from being able to make things better.
Defining someone or something by only its flaws negates the positives they may have brought.
Can we honor the good we contain AND turn a cold eye towards the deeply rooted problem?
The thing is, we can only make it better once we acknowledge and shine a light on the negative. It can be an opportunity, IF we are honest, IF we are willing to change.
We all contain multitudes.
