✨ DAY 3 & FINAL DANCES — WHAT A WAY TO FINISH! ✨

Yesterday and this morning brought our final dances at the Savoy Theatre, and our dancers certainly went out with a bang! 🤩🩰🔥

And the results were simply incredible:

🥉 2 Bronze
🥈 2 Silver
🏆 21 GOLD!

What an incredible four days we have had as a team! So many dances, so many emotions, long days, tired feet… but SO much talent, passion and beautiful moments on that stage. 🥰🤩

We couldn’t be prouder of every single dancer who stepped onto that stage and gave it their all. ❤️

And now… the dancing is done, the costumes can finally come off 😅, and tonight we get to dress up again for the Gala Evening & Trophies Ceremony! ✨🏆

✨ DAY 2 — INCREDIBLE! ✨

Our entire team took to the stage across solos, duets, trios, quartets and groups, performing Ballet and Modern across all age categories! 🩰🔥

We are BACK in Port Elizabeth!!! 🥰🩰

✨ This time, we are taking part in the Nelson Mandela Dance Festival at the beautiful Savoy Theatre.

Three of our seniors took to the stage today in their Classical and Demi-Character Ballet solos in the 15–17 years section, bringing home 1 Bronze, 4 Silver and 1 Gold! 👏

And later, our ladies took the stage with their National Group, “Legend of the Tarantella”, and were awarded Gold! 👏🩰

Well done to everyone! We are so proud of you all. ❤️

Now… a good rest, and we’ll see you BACK ON STAGE tomorrow! 🥰🩰✨

✨ What a start to the Friendly City Dance Festival in PE! ✨

Our Seniors kicked off the competition today in style, bringing home an amazing 2 Double Golds, 6 Golds, 5 Silvers and 2 Bronzes! 🏆🥇🥈🥉

And this is only the beginning… 🤩

Tomorrow, the rest of our team arrives, and we have a BIG day ahead! 💪✨

🩰 What an incredible week at the 13th South African International Ballet Competition! 🇿🇦🩰❤️

We are incredibly proud of our four dancers who represented the studio:

* Christina Jonsson
* Gabriella Jonsson
* Jaden Morton
* Cayden Bean

All four competed beautifully in their respective divisions, with three dancers making it through to the finals - an achievement we are extremely proud of.

Our trio “Entr’acte”, performed by Christina, Gabriella and Jaden, was awarded 🥇 GOLD for Best Ballet Trio! 🩰❤️

A huge congratulations to Cayden Bean on an outstanding competition, despite competing with an ankle injury:

🥈 Silver Medal – Ballet
🥉 Bronze Medal – Contemporary

And an absolutely incredible achievement for Jaden Morton, who was awarded a one-year scholarship to Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, USA! 🇺🇸🩰

Four dancers, countless hours of hard work, dedication and commitment, and so many special memories made along the way.

We couldn’t be prouder of each one of you. ❤️🩰

What a special day at the AAB Performance Awards! ✨

A big well done to our 35 dancers who took to the stage yesterday — your commitment, courage and passion truly showed in every performance.

We were so honoured to welcome judge Alice-Ann Cassell, who travelled all the way to be with us. Thank you for your time, insight and encouragement — it means so much to our dancers and team.

Our results speak for the hard work behind the scenes:

And a truly exciting highlight — 11 scholarships awarded for the American Academy of Ballet’s 2027 Summer Program in New York! 🇺🇸
