Having her rubber arm twisted to participate, KMK, a longtime supporter and style judge of the MARK WILSON AUTUMN DANCE FESTIVAL💥❤️‍🔥‼️🎉💃🏽, Is a proudly South African - off the wall -Fashion Designer, wife to Boudewijn, Mom to Anouk, Maia, Lola and Rudy, also furkids Jazzy & Seuss and friend to many. She lives in a fantasy land of colour, pattern and texture, dreams always of achieving the unattainable, has a passion for upliftment and community and by her own admission would have been a showgal if not a designer🤣🤪💃🏽‼️💥❤️‍🔥.
Karen, prefers to swim upstream and her achievements accross her more than 30 years in fashion read like a runway roadshow.
She is the joint recipient of the EMMA SMITH OVERSEAS ART SCHOLARSHIP which took her to PROMOSTYL in Paris. She was the Winner of THE FAIRLADY BEST YOUNG DESIGNER AWARD, was nominated for THE FAIRLADY CATHERINE AWARD, won the MGSA/DIRECTIONS AWARD FOR MENSWEAR, she has won numerous Durban July Invited Designer showcases having participated for 25 years, she has shown on the top national platforms consistently, SA FASHIONWEEK, DESIGN INDABA, AUDI JHB FASHIONWEEK, CAPE TOWN FASHION WEEK, DURBAN FASHIONWEEK and THE DURBAN FASHION FAIR since she graduated fashion in 1992. She co launched THE LOVE REBELLION and more recently KARMA productions, and continues to search for colour, adventure and upliftment daily. She is a keen motivational speaker, often invited to address events and forums and lives a life IN FULL COLOUR‼️❤️‍🔥💥💃🏽

In that vein, it gives us great pleasure and delight to add to our celebrity dance off repertoire, none other than the inimitable Roland Stansell. 💥🎉‼️❤️‍🔥💃🏽Much loved director of the RHUMBELOW THEATRE. At first glance one sees Roland, and his wonderful achievements, and takes that a face value. ‼️A multi talented human with a Bcom degree from the UKZN, and a career spanning many years in many roles, in as many industry giants…

❤️‍🔥‼️🎉But these were just his day jobs!! However beneath the surface lies this extraordinary force of creativity and passion. A character of note, revealed every so often to ENTERTAIN and CAPTIVATE!!! 💃🏽💥❤️‍🔥And it’s not only this persona that makes Roland such an asset to the ARTS but his dedication to the continued success of so many artists, in his relentless support and platform for them. 🙏🏼❤️‍🔥‼️

“Roland is a machine – he has an overactive sense of community which has led him to initiate projects to benefit the greater theatre family: he provides a space for us to rehearse; pianos for us to hire; databases for us to access; opportunities for us to fund-raise and perhaps most significantly, he manages three functioning, sustainable community theatre venues in which we perform. The Rhumbelow circuit is our very own “Off Broadway”

❤️‍🔥Roland opened THE RHUMBELOW THEATRE in July 2001, almost 22 years ago. All in his own time and after hours, theatre club, film club and many other endeavours.

☄️💥It is with great excitement and honour that we introduce Greg Wallis, a giant in the fashion landscape in Durban, with a career spanning 50 years and still going strong. ‼️💥A talented and passionate designer, business owner, mentor and friend to many in this and many associated businesses. He too carries many titles under his belt, and with just accolade. ❤️‍🔥

• Designer Director at HD LEE and a Denim specialist
• Recipient of the Living legend in the fashion business Award by the Ethekweni Municipality .
• Fashion director of the Mrs Universe competition.
• Chairman of the Feed the babies Charity. One of the leading roles in THE PASSION PLAY this Easter at the Durban Playhouse.
To name just a few. Greg is an iconic game player, supplying the major chainstores with fashion items. He also frequently judges fashion shows nationally and internationally and mentors young designers.‼️🎉💥

When asked to dance REALITY STYLE in our dance off, he did not bat an eyelid and simply asked where, when ahem? 🤪🤣❤️‍🔥‼️🎉💥💃🏽

She is a champion for women 💃🏽❤️‍🔥🌸and holds several titles under her belt. 💥Namely Mrs SA 2016, first princess, 💥Mrs Charity Recognition award, 2016, 💥Top 10, Mrs Universe to name but a few. She is passionately involved in community and often judges competitions and events, with an innate sense of style and glamour and every inch a lady.
