Allow me to introduce to you our visual artist Lebogang ArtRon-Onee Moabi.
Born and raised in the Matlosana township of Jouberton, Northwest. When he was in fourth grade, this self-taught multidisciplinary artist discovered his talent when he made a Mother's Day card for his mother. He kept up his art practise throughout high school, where he became "infamous" for leaving large-scale chalk sketches on the classroom board every Friday.
Lebogang has a strong artistic and spiritual connection to nature and his ancestors, who he claims come to him in dreams to give him art advice. His work demonstrates his great artistic expression. Blue is his preferred colour, and it appears in the majority of his portraiture work.
In order to diversify his portfolio, he began selling hand-painted apparel in the retail space in 2017. He had his first group shows in 2018 at The B Gallery and Klerksdorp Museum.
Lebogang will be showcasing his beautiful paintings on the 29th July 2023.
