On 6 December, I’m joining the Ngeke Festival at Constitution Hill, Joburg — a celebration of courage, creativity, and the collective power of South Africans to say Enough is enough.
Corruption is not just a political issue; it’s a daily theft of dignity, opportunity, and hope. Corruption steals from all of us. But when we come together — young, old, artists, activists, dreamers — we become unstoppable.
I will be speaking at the festival about how corruption affects every part of our lives, and how each of us can play a role — big or small — in turning the tide.
Come through for the music, the energy, the purpose. Leave ready to take action and help build the Mzansi we know is possible.
We’ll be uplifted by artists who carry the spirit of resistance in every note: 🎶 Zoë Modiga, BCUC, Onset Music Group, and Xtreem Makhayeni with LERAI guiding the energy as host.
Tickets are free — just sign the NGEKE! Pledge at www.ngeke.co.za
See you there, where we raise our voices and our spirits, and declare loudly:
📢 Ngeke ngithule! Ngeke ngikwenze! Ngeke ngiye ngedwa!
📢 I won’t keep quiet! I won’t do it! I won’t go at it alone!
