Can you get a Fine Line Tattoo if you have freckles?
Yes. Having freckles doesn’t mean you can’t get a Fine Line Tattoo.
Your freckles simply become part of the skin your artist is working with. Depending on the
design, your artist may consider where the freckles sit, the amount of detail in the tattoo, its size and placement.
You don’t need to find a completely freckle-free piece of skin. The important thing is designing the tattoo for your skin rather than expecting your skin to look like the reference photo.
Your skin isn’t a blank canvas and that’s a good thing.
When we tattoo, we’re working with real skin. Freckles, different tones and natural variations are already part of it.
A tattoo doesn’t have to hide those features. The design can work with them and still keep the delicate look you wanted.
