After making their return to the South African music scene, Johannesburg indie favourites SHORTSTRAW are bringing their new EP, ‘Everything In Between’, to Sognage on 4 September for a special live launch show for Joburg.

Releasing on 4 September 2026, ‘Everything In Between’ marks an exciting new chapter for the band as they return to releasing and performing new music. It is a celebration of everything SHORTSTRAW fans have come to love about the band – infectious melodies, energetic indie-pop, driving rhythms and songs that reveal a little more of themselves with every listen.

The EP arrives with a sound that is both immediately catchy and emotionally layered, signature to SHORTSTRAW’s approach: music that can make you want to dance while giving you something to think - and possibly feel - about. The result is an EP that captures SHORTSTRAW in a new phase – reconnecting with their audience, embracing their return and creating music that feels immediate, honest and unmistakably their own.

Joining the line up on the night will be Stereoclub and Kade Bryden.

Make some noise, and a massive congratulations to our DRESS THE SCENE winners! All 5 of these designs have won the R4000 prize, and all 5 of them are going to be official Sognage merch before you know it!
