The Joburg City Festival is a celebration of the regenerated Johannesburg inner-city. Tourism establishments, hotels, restaurants, events venues and more are working together as the Joburg City Tourism Association (JCTA) to offer a week of non-stop activities in downtown Johannesburg (24 – 31 August 2013). The Joburg City Festival includes activities for everyone, from film festivals, coffee tastings and barista competitions to poetry readings and literature festivals… It is all happening in Joburg City!
Stay in one of Joburg’s fantastic city hotels and join in the festival fun. Come to town by Gautrain and make use of Gautrain buses, Rea Vaya buses and dedicated festival shuttles to enjoy the festivities. Events take place all day and night for the whole week with many lunchtime and early evening activations all over the inner-city.
