The Creative Exchange

The Creative Exchange A two-day public conference hosted by students of the Wits School of Arts, September 2012 - September 2015.

The Creative Exchange was a student-led conference hosted by students of the Wits School of Arts. The conference worked towards creating a platform for an interdisciplinary discussion of conceptual and intellectual position that perhaps may not necessarily have a place in the academic institution. The conference took on a casual approach so as to free the this forum from the limitations and stigma

associated with academic events like this. The ideas of those selected were presented to audiences of fellow students and guests and therefore led to multiple peer led discussion. The Creative Exchange was an opportunity to freely present personal, ideas, research and projects. The conference followed a number of themes. The conference ran for two days every September from 2012 to 2015.
