A proud international recognition for Joburg Ballet 🇿🇦✈️

Joburg Ballet Artistic Director Dane Hurst has been invited to serve on the international jury of PRIDANSP 2026 — the São Paulo International Dance Award in Brazil from 3-6 September.

Joining an international panel representing respected institutions from Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, the UK and the USA, the invitation is a significant recognition of Dane’s standing as an artistic leader and Joburg Ballet on the global stage.

We are immensely proud to see Dane representing Joburg Ballet, Johannesburg and South African ballet on this prestigious global platform. 🌍🇿🇦✈️
