The Lighthouse on 7th presents "The Community". Once a month, The Lighthouse on 7th brings together local emcees, producers and conscious heads in Jozi. The concept is to bring back what's been lost - the community, the street life, the dignity and respect that the culture of hip hop has to teach. We provide a platform for the up and coming as well as industry vet's to come together and give their

contribution back to the culture that broke all barries, heard no lies and became the force that allowed a generation to express themselves through various mediums like never before. We also believe in uplifting the community around us, and ask all participants and attendee's to donate some of their old clothes for charity. Due to unforseen circumstances, we unfortunately can no longer host the street store today, but don't fret, we'll be doing a hand over of the donations collected to our homies at Loose Change Events for the next one... The Community out!

Wassup Community. We're going to be hosting 4 events at this years Grahamstown National Arts Festival 2-12 July 2015 (2nd biggest arts festival in THE WORLD) and will be collecting clothes for charity and distributing them to the less fortunate there. If you an artist who wants a couple of slots and can without a doubt make it, or know artists who would be interested, inbox us or email [email protected] for more info.
