Tribal Angels Belly Dance Heather Angel is the studio director who founded Tribal Angels in 2009 and is the first dancer to introduce ATS® to South Africa.

Tribal Angels are a belly dance studio and dance troupe based in Johannesburg South Africa, we have been specialising in FCBD style and tribal fusion belly dance since 2009, offering performances for events both locally and internationally. Tribal Angels belly dance are a highly acclaimed American Tribal Style® (ATS®) belly dance troupe, who perform at various functions both locally in South Afri

ca and internationally. Heather is also a FatChanceBellyDance® sister studio. FatChanceBellyDance® is based in San Francisco, California in the United States and is directed by Carolena Nericcio-Bohlmann who has trained many dancers in the art of ATS® and has many Sister Studio's worldwide. Tribal Angels perform at corporate functions, team building events, parties, fairs and festivals and many more. From Rustenburg, Jacqui of MiTribe Oriental Dance Collective presents a radiant solo:
🌞🌙 Chasing Light: The Eternal Dance of Sol and Mani

This celestial piece brings to life the Norse myth of Sol, goddess of the sun, and Mani, god of the moon—eternally racing across the sky, pursued by cosmic wolves. Jacqui’s performance captures the rhythm of this chase, echoing the cycles of day and night, light and shadow, motion and stillness.

Blending mythology and cosmic symbolism, “Chasing Light” explores duality and balance, portraying the universe’s pulse through movement. It’s a dance of transformation, where ancient myth meets astronomical wonder, and the stars themselves seem to move with her.
