This piece wanted more colour. She wanted to be special in her own way.
“Flower Dear”, part of the Where the Forest Dreams series, is a first for the multicolored acrylic on the porcelain. I loved making her and look forward to seeing who takes a living to her like I do.

“Where the Forest Dreams” series. Inspired by the hyena and their sisterhood, how the underground is their home to them, they pups and where you often see them.

A new series of sculptures that has hand drawn flowers on the pieces.
This new series is inspired by the state of insomnia. In the inability to sleep, and pattern emerging from closed eyes, I was inspired to create what the Forest dreamt.
“Where the Forest Dreams” series will be creations made in the darkest hours of the night

This piece “Bear with me” is the second piece in the series.
For all my fellow creatives that find that sleep evades them, I hope you understand each of these pieces in your core.
