The long-awaited box set from NO FRIENDS OF HARRY is finally here!
Many of you have been waiting a long time for news about when it’ll be ready, how much it’ll cost, and how many will be available. Believe me, so has the band. Long story short, as per usual for NFOH, things have been a little complicated. We’ve made things rather difficult for ourselves in our quest to remain uncompromising in our vision of what it should be. It’s been a journey of tender loving care, blood, sweat and tears. Only 100 handmade box sets will be produced by the band, and no more will be made available. This will be our final legacy. In true NFOH style, the band are producing this box-set entirely independently. No record companies were willing to take the risk.
Anyhow, it will include No Friends of Harry’s first three albums: ONE CAME RUNNING (including the tracks from IN FROM THE COLD, INTO THE VALLEY and 15 SECONDS, all with original cover designs—plus another brand-new album called THE FORGOTTEN TAPES, choc-a-block with rediscovered and unreleased tracks, live tracks and demos on vinyl. All of these have been remastered from the original long-lost analogue tapes by legendary producer Matthew Fink, together with the band. You’ll also receive an individual download code for a whole bunch of extra live, demo and alternate versions. The set will include an album-sized printed photo gallery and word booklet featuring a history of NFOH with lyrics for all albums on the inner sleeve, all lovingly packaged in a beautifully designed box sleeve and individually numbered from 001–100, along with a personalised, signed certificate.
