Deep down south in the outskirts of Africa
There’s a breed of young women coming out of Pandora’s Box
Ready to unearth a new history
She is the head, she is the neck
She is on top, she is at the bottom
She is complete
But is Africa ready to give her back The Crown?

No

Because her brothers turn their backs’ while other brothers forcefully touch her story
Silence is their strength
Fists are their words
Punctuated all the way
We have been burning sacrifices to non-existent gods
We have been stoned to death because of r***d innocence
We have been potential s*x slaves from the day we were born
We have been begging for identities in our own homes

And now you want to suddenly sulk when we have given birth to daughters who want to reclaim all that was lost in the fire?
F**k you
You want to tell this new breed of young women how to own their own power?

F**k you

You want to own how they speak their own power?

F**k you

You want to dick swing around their power for the sake of your anxieties, insecurities and fears?

F**k you!

Here’s the thing

Silence is not golden
So we will bellow
This is our womanhood
We own our bodies
We own our spirit
We are the portal between life and death
We own our thoughts
We own our voice
We own our lives
We own our breath
We own our names
We own our destiny
The train is coming, go, stay, vent, squeal, either way, change is here. We will not ask, we will not beg: We will take back our womanhood.
