This was a true collaboration between the client and JD Kustom.

The client supplied the body and neck, which he modified and sprayed himself as a personal project.

From there, we completed the build with custom wiring and components to bring this one-of-a-kind Strat to life 🎸🔧🎶

JD and Justin are both deep in the workshop today, each working on their own projects while breaking down what’s happening behind the scenes 🔧

JD is focused on a binding repair, carefully explaining the sanding and finishing process needed to get clean, seamless results. At the same time, Justin is working through his own repair and sharing insights into his workflow as well, showing how different jobs in the shop all come down to patience, precision, and understanding the instrument ✨
