Our Story
NDAWO Yummy is a restaurant concept born of the idea of fusion that brings together experiences combining eclectic yet classic Afro-Euro cuisine, linguistics, dynamic movement through space, soundscapes and the performance arts. We introduce you to alternative interpretations of traditional dishes enjoyed on the African continent and globally too.
Orally our name expresses aurally as “My Space” in isiZulu; yet it also reads as a patois fusion of isiZulu for place or space with the English for synonym for an artisanal, yet delectable dining experience to always come home to.
