Thoknique born Tholakele Mokoena, is a South African Deep & Soulful House DJ redefining the energy of the local house music scene.

Set to step into a major national spotlight as the first female resident DJ for the 2026–2027 season on Radio 2000’s Better Together with Ntombi Meso, Thoknique continues to build a reputation as an “architect of the vibe”, shaping moods through carefully curated deep and soulful house soundscapes.

Straight out of Pretoria, Slaga is one of the rising names carrying South African Deep House into a new generation. Known for his smooth underground sound, groovy basslines and emotionally driven productions, Slaga has built a reputation as a passionate producer dedicated to the growth of Deep House culture in South Africa.

Born Lucky Mashigoane, the producer and DJ began his musical journey at a young age, developing his craft through years of experimentation across house, hip hop and deep electronic sounds before fully embracing Deep House. His dedication to the genre has seen him share stages with major South African artists including Makhadzi, DBN Gogo and Kabza De Small while also collaborating with respected industry names such as Black Motion and Lady Zamar.

From the heart of Rustenburg in the North West, TimAdeep has carved out a respected name in South Africa’s underground movement. Known for his atmospheric productions and signature “Groove Tech” style, TimAdeep blends Deep House, Deep Tech, Electronica and Soulful House into immersive musical journeys built for true house music lovers.

Born Themba Kubheka, TimAdeep began collecting music in the early 2000s before stepping into DJing in 2011 and later music production in 2015. Inspired by legendary artists such as Daft Punk, Kaskade, Kentphonik and the iconic Soul Candi and House Afrika era, he developed a sound that feels both nostalgic and forward thinking.

Over the years, TimAdeep has earned recognition across the global Deep House scene with releases on respected labels including Stay True Sounds, Atjazz Recordings, Aluku Records, Seven Villas Music and Candid Beings. His music continues to resonate with listeners through rich melodies, deep basslines and emotionally driven storytelling.
