Rest ⏸️ and Strive ▶️

Lately, I’ve been confronted with this question? Do you work and strive to rest or do you work from a place of rest?

It reminded me of the disciples working and “striving” all night long, without catching any fish. The next morning on the suggestion of Jesus to throw the net on the other side - all of a sudden, there was so many fish in it, they weren’t strong enough to pull it in.

CONTROL and TRUST

To whom do I surrender? In uncertain times like this we want to work more, do more, be more - at least I can say I’ve tried. Me, me, me its all about me and my effort that will save me.

Remember who you are. 💛
You are a child of God. God the creator of the universe, omnipotent and glorious there is none like Him.
You are - because of Him, you can not fit Him into your life - He is your life. And from that surrendered place, rivers of life will flow.

After the beautiful exhibition at Paputzis, I am back at the studio, with a lot of paint canvasses and ideas. I am so excited and grateful for the space to create. 💛
