That concludes the J-Bay Classic 2024. And what a fantastic event it was. How enjoyable to see surfers engage Supertubes on such a varying array of craft. To the victor go the spoils, and today, and rose to the occasion. Besting Mikey February and Sally Fitz (respectively), on route to their wins.

It was an unforgettable day of competition yesterday at the World Surf League (WSL) J-Bay Classic Presented by Corona, with offshore winds and six-to-eight foot sets rolling through from sunrise to sunset. The Bonus Round determined the overall leaderboard with the top four men and women advancing to the bracket stage. Read more on worldsurfleague.com.

WOW. What a glorious day of surfing. This is what surfing is all about. 6-8ft Supertubes. A handful of legends in the water. Corduroy lines stacked to the horizon and 's popping all day long.

The star of the day was undoubtedly . As the ho**er blared forth, indicating the start of heat two, Mikey stroked into the wave of the day. A Supertubes screamer. Dreamy. And Mfeb lit that thing up. Drawn out down-carve. Layback hammer, all culminating in a lengthy barrel on the inside. The crowd roared.

Today was a day to remember. Supertubes at her finest. Paired with some of the world's most influential free surfers.
