Elongated, raw and quietly powerful, Anton Smit’s Reënwolf gazes beseechingly up to the heavens inviting us to look beyond the body and into the questions of identity, vulnerability and the human search for meaning.

We’re exhibiting a beautiful collection of Mbongeni Buthelezi artworks as part of KZN Art Fair at Hilton Arts Festival and it’s not to be missed!

Mbongeni transforms discarded plastic into striking, richly textured works that command attention. Through his distinctive process, everyday waste becomes something unexpected: layered, evocative and energetic works that speak to consumption, waste, identity and transformation.

Find the exhibition in the Normand Dunn Gallery in the foyer of the main theatre.

A sneak peek of a beautiful collection of Deborah Good that is part of our main theatre exhibition at KZN Art Fair as part of Hilton Arts Festival .

This body of work explores the instinct to flower, to reach for light and life. A celebration of resilience, vitality and the quiet force that reminds us: we are never finished. We are always becoming.

Introducing The Last Bow, a stunning new sculpture by James Cook.

We chatted with James when he was still working on this piece so have shared some of that story along with the newly completed piece. We never cease to be amazed by James’s sensitivity, artistry, and innovation as a sculptor and hope you enjoy engaging with it as much as we do!

There is something irresistible about her confidence, isn’t there?

Chin lifted, hands planted firmly on her hips, sturdy little boots set wide apart, her toy trailing her on her adventures, she stands with the kind of self-possession most of us spend a lifetime trying to rediscover.

She’s captured in a stage of childhood when imagination is limitless, identity unquestioned, and the opinions of others have yet to leave their mark. It’s truly the loveliest celebration of innocence and strength of character existing side by side and evokes a nostalgia for the freedom of childhood security as well as a deeper adult knowing of how admirable the quiet courage of standing in the world exactly as you are really is.
