Update:
This is called the Inquisitive Monkey Moth caterpillar

King Monkey Moth caterpillar. Hard to find information about this one.

Eupterotidae is a family of insects in the order Lepidoptera

Also saw this also in the SA Caterpillar FB group:
“Location dependent, it may be an Inquisitive Monkey Moth (Janomima mariana), but almost certainly a Janomima sp.”
