Bambury Studios Grand Opening | Video Highlights

What a great evening! Here's a look back at the official opening of Bambury Studios in Hilton, KwaZulu-Natal.

The event brought together industry professionals, creatives, customers, and friends to celebrate the launch of an exciting new space dedicated to production, technology, and training. From lighting and cameras to sound and AV solutions, there was plenty to explore throughout the evening.

Guests enjoyed live demonstrations, including a sound check led by Tyron Ivins, founder of Bambury Studios, while Matt Gardiner and his band kept the atmosphere alive with a live performance. Of course, no South African industry gathering would be complete without good conversation, boerewors rolls, and time spent catching up with familiar faces.

We are honoured to have been part of this milestone and look forward to seeing Bambury Studios grow into a valuable resource for schools, houses of worship, businesses, content creators, and the wider AV community in KwaZulu-Natal.

Bambury Studios Grand Opening | Hilton, KZN

DWR Distribution had the privilege of joining the team at Bambury Studios for their grand opening in Hilton, KwaZulu-Natal — a great evening filled with good people, great conversation, and plenty of tech on display.

From lighting and cameras to sound, there was something for everyone to experience. Guests enjoyed live demonstrations, including a sound check led by Tyron Ivins, founder of Bambury Studios, along with a live performance by Matt Gardiner and his band, which brought great energy to the space.

It was also great to enjoy the more relaxed side of the evening — boerewors rolls, drinks, and time spent connecting with industry friends and partners.

We’re honoured to have been part of this milestone and look forward to seeing Bambury Studios grow as a hub for creative production and AV solutions in the heart of Hilton, offering sales, product advice, and service.

We’ve been working with Wave church over the past few months, giving them various solutions including custom roof panels, new Allen Heath SQ mixer, AHM processor for speaker management and for ease of use for functions and normal church services. The latest addition consisted of a pair of very impressive column array speakers from RCF with a punch and clear sound in a big glass box. It’s been a pleasure assisting Wave church.

We were entrusted with upgrading the audio system in Kearsney College’s main school hall, installing an RCF HDL26 line array to deliver clear, consistent coverage throughout the space. Following the success of the audio upgrade, we were further entrusted to modernise the hall’s lighting infrastructure, including the supply and commissioning of a new MA3 Compact Command Wing lighting console. We’re extremely pleased with the final result, which now offers the school a powerful, flexible, and future-ready production environment.
