🇿🇦✈️ The journey begins...

As I sit here waiting to board my flight, it still doesn't quite feel real.

In the next hour, I'll be on my way to Blackpool, United Kingdom, to compete at the World Dance Masters Championships 2026, proudly representing South Africa in both my Solo and ProAm divisions.

This journey has been months in the making. There have been countless hours of training, fundraising, planning, and preparing. It hasn't always been easy, but every challenge has made this moment even more meaningful.

The South African flag I'm holding isn't just a flag. Every signature on it represents someone who has believed in me, encouraged me, and supported me along the way. I'll be taking each and every one of you onto that dance floor with me.

To my members, friends, and family—thank you. This opportunity would not have been possible without your generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support. Thank you for believing in my dream and helping me make it a reality.

No matter what happens, I already feel incredibly proud to have the opportunity to represent my country and my studio on the world stage.

Tomorrow, the floor is set, the music is ready, and it's time for **SA Masters!** ✨

Wishing every dancer from every club the very best of luck this weekend. May all your hard work, dedication, and countless hours of practice shine through every step you take. Dance with confidence, passion, and most importantly, enjoy every moment on the floor.

A heartfelt thank you to the event organisers, volunteers, and adjudicators. Your time, commitment, and passion make opportunities like this possible for our dance community. We truly appreciate everything that goes into creating such a special event.

To my incredible **K² Competition Team**... this is your very first SA Masters, and I couldn't be prouder. ❤️ You have shown determination, commitment, resilience, and heart throughout this journey. You have put in the hours, trusted the process, and supported one another every step of the way.

Now it's your time.

Go out there, dance with confidence, trust your training, and let your love for dance shine brighter than any scorecard ever could. No matter the results, you've already made me incredibly proud.

✨ LDSA KZN Meltdown! ✨

Our competition team took to the floor and absolutely shone this weekend 💃🔥

This marked my first time back on the competition floor this season, and only the second competition for my two incredible dancers – and I couldn’t be prouder of how they handled themselves. From confidence to growth to pure joy… it was all there 💛

One of the most special parts of the weekend was seeing new friendships forming between dancers – that sense of community, support and connection is truly what this journey is all about 🫶

👏 ProAm Highlights:
Warren and I stepped back onto the floor for the first time since November

🥇 ProAm Results:
Novice Crystal - Honours grading across the board 🥇

🥇 Solo Results:
• Starter Primary – 1st Place 🥇
• Starter Open – 2nd Place 🥈
• Novice Crystal – 1st Place 🥇

💫 A big congratulations to ALL the dancers who took to the floor this weekend – your hard work, courage and passion never go unnoticed 👏

🙏 Thank you to the judges for your time, expertise and feedback – it is truly appreciated.
