throwback to 17 years ago when I played with Maisha! What an amazing group!

Durban based Afro Fusion band Maisha's video of their hit song "Afrika Unite" filmed in 2009 in the Midlands of Kwazulu Natal (KZN) in South Africa on Russels Farm by Bean & Dane. Produced by Baked Bean.

Featuring in the video are Tresor Riziky on Lead Vocals and Acoustic Guitar, Rod Nichols on Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals, Khulekani Zondi on Keyboards and Backing Vocals, Bongani Maduna on Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals, Simon Cox on Drums & Jon Pimenta on Percussion.
Trynity Silk played Trumpet on the Audio recording.

Maisha's debut album, "Stop the War" recorded at Face Studios in Westville, KZN, South Africa.

Had a visit from TVET College students from the Gamalakhe Campus, Expressive Arts Department to collect a drum repair and have a sample session on some of African Drumshack's Djembes. Well done guys! Keep up the rhythmic expression!
