As we go through the final stages of the design process for a creative safe space in our community. We had a group of very energetic creative children in our community putting all their fun ideas into a model. We look forward to the partnerships and collaborations to get the project on the ground.

On this day a year ago a group of Ikhethelo Learning Foundation volunteers in Hlutankungu had their first play park which was made possible by ChangeX. Working closely with Kids Collab , beautifully structured lessons were planned and the children of Hlutankungu had a place that they would come to every Saturday to play. Unbeknown to us, children of different age, culture, race and background all spoke the same language which is PLAY. A year later we have launched Ikhethelo design with children where our children get to design a safe space in our community this is made possible through ChangeX and Play Africa. Running simultaneously with play park, the lives of the children of Hlutankungu will never be the same through these opportunities. Thank you Ikhethelo learning foundation for this amazing vision.
