Sharing this event, featuring our very own flautist Tracey Burger, in support our friends at Overstrand Arts/kunste - OAK. Good luck, ladies!

On Sunday, 16 August, Overstrand Arts/Kunste (OAK) will host a regional quartet - DA CAPO - known for their elegance, passion and excellence.
DA CAPO is made up of four accomplished musicians with a shared passion for creating beautiful music founded by Debi Best, well-known Saxophonist and Clarinetist. They are Colleen Labuschagne ( pianist), Barbara Kennedy (cellist) and Tracey Burger, Flautist.
They will be joined by guest drummer, Steve Goold.
The audience can look forward to individual artistry which blends seamlessly to create a rich, expressive and captivating sound when they perform a Winter Serenade which will include varied works by Lauderdale, Chiara, Bach, Marchetti, Brahms and several other composers.

Join us on Saturday 19 September for a musical festival of learning and fun, celebrating and supporting young local talent. The event will feature students from local NGOs, accompanied by the Whale Coast Symphony Orchestra and takes place at the Dutch Reformed Church in Onrus.

Really enjoyed getting together for our all-day rehearsal at the NG Kerk in Kleinmond. A great opportunity to spend focused time working on the repertoire for our forthcoming concerts in the second half of 2026 (more on that to come soon), plus a chance to socialise and connect. Thank you, Handevat Music NPO - and the church - for helping to organise a very productive day.
