A moment where nothing needs to be certain. The sea is open, the wind is strong, the sky is changing, and yet the seagulls are simply flying. They don't wait for the wind to become predictable or worry about where they will land. Perhaps life is pretty much the same. The wind will always change, so learn to fly anyway.

There is also something very joyful about the painting. Not the happiness of having everything under control, but the happiness of feeling alive, free, and open to whatever comes next. 🌊

A moment where nothing needs to be certain. The sea is open, the wind is strong, the sky is changing, and yet the seagulls are simply flying. "The Storm" is SOLD to a collector in Shelley Point. ✨️

There are storms that don’t come to break you.
They come to awaken something you’ve kept quiet for too long.
The sky doesn’t ask for permission to shift,
it gathers, it deepens, it transforms
and somewhere within that
you recognize the same stirring inside yourself.
What once felt heavy begins to feel alive,
charged with a kind of energy you can’t ignore.
Because some storms aren’t meant to pass,
they’re meant to change you.

This painting was done with the guidance of Dunc Ebedes Duncan Ebedes Art, whose perspective challenged and elevated me - grateful beyond words 🙏
