Star Nation Art Studio Art Classes, Workshops, Art, Glass, Metal, Knifemaking and a wonderful setting. Art is a lifestyle in Heidelberg. We cater for groups of 4 to 8 People.

Weekly art & glass, mosaic classes & weekend art workshops. Star Nation gets the community involved in art. Blacksmith Andries Kluyts works on the premises, local art is on exhibit in the gallery and the community comes together for art for all ages, one is never too young or old for art

At starnation we love to do things the traditional way. In the old days it was custom to make a guardian out of clay for your new kiln. It is fired in the first firing of the kiln. Rayn is preparing for her first firing and here she is painting her dragon guardian that she sculpted. We can't wait to see if it will be a successful firing. May the force go with this one.

During the month of June, Starnation Studio is focusing on the art of paper.

Join us on the 6 of June for papermaking and on the 27th of June to create your own creative journal using good-quality watercolour paper.

On the 6 You will learn to make your own paper with recycled paper and will get to take your own deckle home with you.

Time: 10am – 3pm
Limited space available, so please book in advance.
Cost includes all materials.
