Nobody ever sits down and says:

“You know what? Let’s build a place for kids, grandparents, dogs, bikers, sports fans, live music lovers, coffee drinkers, foodies, pizza enthusiasts and locals who just pop in for a quick drink.”

But here we are.

Somewhere between serving pizzas, pouring drinks, ordering stock, fixing things that shouldn’t be broken, and wondering where all the teaspoons disappeared to, we’ve managed to build something special.

Kids making memories.
Friends making plans.
Families gathering around tables.
Dogs making themselves at home.
Musicians setting the soundtrack.
Our wonderful team keeping the wheels turning.
And us trying to remember what day it is.

What a weekend we have lined up at the Pot ‘n Plow!

Friday kicks off with Zoë Darling & Ed live from 19:00, followed by the URC Final at 20:30 as the Bulls take on Leinster.

On Saturday, the Springboks dust off the cobwebs and get their season underway against the Barbarians at 15:00.

Both games will be shown on our big screens, with our popular Predict-the-Score competition and lucky draw prizes giving you the chance to win big. Bragging rights are free.

Don’t forget about our great new Winter Specials either. Because watching rugby is serious business, and serious business requires good food.

Then there’s Father’s Day.

If you’ve remembered to book, well done. If you’ve only just remembered now, there’s still time.

Doulton Gill will be providing the entertainment while Dad enjoys a well-earned meal, a cold drink, and the rare privilege of not being asked to fix something.
