The 3rd annual Brew Her Women’s Day Brewing Competition brought together an awesome bunch of women, plenty of brewing talent and, naturally, a healthy dose of b**r-fuelled gees at Starke brews

And because no good b**r event is complete without a little foolishness, our very own Head Jester walked away with Best Dressed and, as always, was dishing out his world-famous hugs like the generous jester he is.

Happy International IPA Day! 🍻

West Coast IPA was the chosen style for our homebrew competition at last year’s fest, and by holy hops, did the clubs deliver. Durban Home Brewers Club ultimately took the title, but the real winners were the festival-goers who got to smash- we mean sample all the tasty IPA entries for free.

So crack a cold IPA today and raise a toast to the hop bomb that helped put craft b**r on the map.
