🔥 Studio adventures with Luke! 🎨

Today, he’s turning his creative spark into fire with an experiment that’s equal parts art and science! 🐱💡

Combining cat hair, copper sulfate, salt, and newspaper in his homemade mini Raku kiln, which doubles as a forge 🔥, Luke’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with a reduction firing.

Our 10 year old learner drew inspiration from a book of South African potters. She whipped up a toucan jug bursting with color and charm. With a steady hand and a spark of creativity, she brought her feathered friend to life in clay, proving that big art can come from little hands!

Creative Charlie-rose from our kid's class decided she wanted to recreate a vintage rugby ball mascot out of clay!

The ball is from when South Africa won the Rugby World Cup in 1995.
