Did some milkyway photography at Glentana beach . With all the sea spray this is not the ideal spot for milkyway photography but when the wind comes from the right direction you can get some spectacular foreground interest...also a bit of luck helps :-)

The Point in beautiful little Mosselbay with the lighthouse on the hill. Every time I wanted to photograph this composition the light was kicking off either behind me or too much to the sides. There was a bit of haze on the horizon but the clouds were amazing!

I captured this image a while ago just on the other side of the Kleinbrak river near Hartenbos. The clouds were just amazing and I knew if there would be color I'd get a image. Only thing needed was a foreground. I knew about this spot from a previous time visiting it and was hopeful that the tide wouldn't be to high or low. Got there and everything came together perfectly!
