𝙰 𝚍𝚊𝚢 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚍𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚛𝚜 🩰

Ever so often I take my dancers to the stage to get familiar with the theatre surroundings in preparation with our year end productions.

Both old and new pupils enjoy visiting this little Gem, the John Rupert Theatre, its heart warming to see the excitement this theatre brings to them and so grateful having such a platform on which to perform 🎭

On August 20th, the girls showcased their ballet, modern, and tap dances with remarkable tenacity at this year's Camdeboo Eisteddfod hosted at Union High School

Congratulations to each pupil on their outstanding results💃

The following girls took part in this year's NMBDF, which was adjudicated by Ash Searle, the owner of the Kalk Bay Theatre.
Congratulations are in order for Monique Nell, who achieved Gold for both her tap solo's 🥇 and Silver for both her modern solo's 🥈.

Micha Murray and Monique Nell secured Silver for both their Ballet Duet 🥈.

Despite this not being our festival year, these girls were determined to participate 💃.

Leah Marais, a former pupil of CS of D, who currently dances at Poise Academy in Gqabera, achieved Gold for her tap solo 🥇.

I am extremely proud of you girls and it was a truly eventful few days for me to fill my cup.
