Demographic:

The Pageant is open toalllocal young ladies between the ages of 18 to 25. Miss Govan Mbeki ANC contestants must permanently reside at Govan Mbeki municipality [Secunda; Embalenhle; Leslie; Evander; CharlCilliers; Kinross; Bethal and Trichard].

Each of the above-mentioned towns consists of diverse residential communities. Many of these communities are in dire need of financial and emotional support. Hence Miss Govan Mbeki ANC, given a chance it shall open doors for all women and youth around these prefectures through different ways. Young women may find this system to be the opportunity to work with others to become positive role models

An ambassador and public relations representative forANC inGovan Mbeki and event core sponsor.
A role model who cares about her role and other women’s and young people roles in society

An activist on issues she/community deems important and willing to create solution.

The event will give each contestant the opportunity to learn more about customs and family life of this region and other provinces and municipal operation.And also a chance to share her platform efforts with others and make plenty of new friends during the entire period of activities, leading up to two exciting nights of competition.
