I had the pleasure to work on a screen printed poster for Minus the Bear's show in Salt Lake City, 23 November 2025.

I’ve been a fan of progressive music since the late 1990s, when a friend slipped me a worn out cassette of The Smiths’ Meat Is Murder. When you’re a confused teenager drifting through the world alone, there’s nothing warmer than hearing a tape recording of a tape recording on a Walkman held together with duct tape. There’s a kind of magic in finding something real in a cold, dim world that seems determined to numb you until you can’t even finish a full song on Spotify.

Here’s to imagination and creativity never being lost to always discovering, always moving, always feeling something.

Thank you to Minus the Bear for soundtracking countless days and nights painting murals in undisclosed corners of South Africa.
