I thought I should just get your attention for a second....
Well, I am a guy who is tired of the struggle. The next person to tell me "A luta Continua" will get what they want. I am tired of surviving, I want to live. We are always in the struggle, but it never ends. Hell no!! We were not born for this! What the hell is rainbow-nation? who is it for? I'm not there.... I want every single soul reading this post to think carefully, and if they are black, to pay more attention. Apartheid took over because our parents failed us at first, to be honest. However, they ended up in a struggle which they never wished for. So called 'democracy' was brought into the system. We were told of freedom... Our 'leaders' won Nobel Peace Prizes, did we ask for peace? NO! We wanted freedom.
I may have no idea how this 'peace' thing works, but this is not what we deserve. Tell me something - If I took your pen and we got into a fight for it, then we decide to reconcile, does that mean I get to take the pen? Why can't I give back your pen and then we can talk of peace? Our parents might have been thinking of their lives when they agreed to peace, but I am sure they wanted something better. Our parents never hated white people, but they hated the system.... I hate the system! I'm sure some of you out there hate it as well.... How did we end up in this mental slavery?
My point is: We give power to the system if only we fall for it. It is time we changed from being remote-controlled. You, yes you, have all what it takes to make things right. I believe we are the last generation to change things around. We have potential. We have to stand against being divided. Let us not be the products of the system, but make the system our product. It only starts with communication. We hardly ever talk to one another. The only conversation we have is, 'hey, where are you staying? what are you studying?'... NO! That is not how it works. Our brothers and sisters have problems everyday, but they never talk.
Well, be the first change and share this to all your friends...
