We recently spent some time in Zwelihle Township in the Overstrand, with a couple of young boxers from the Eastern Cape.

We were inspired by their passion and the circumstances in which they train and live out their lives.

Here is a preview of a documentary Blackbird is in the process of producing...

Working title, "Uni-Glory Boxing".

We attended the premier of Dredd 3D last night. This 45 million dollar production started in November 2010 and was shot on location in Cape Town and Johannesburg. It was also the first film to be filmed at Cape Town Film Studios. Big step for South African film! Dredd opens in cinemas this weekend.
