My latest project and boy, did I enjoy it.

This sculpture was made from the very sand that was dug out when building the swimming pool which makes it a bit more special and unique. It was a very personal project and definitely a huge challenge.

I build her up, layer by layer, sculpting with my hands when wet and the grinder when dry. The same process over and over until I started finishing it up with colour oxide and lastly a sealer.
Even the mounting was a process of its own, very challenging as it is so heavy and hard to handle.

What a journey and definitely not the last sculpture.

I am hoping that the Blue bulls will behave like fierce Buffalo today. Enjoy the rugby and the weekend.
